Committed to Our Communities

For the past five years, MODE Renovation has proudly served our community as an expert shower remodeling company, specializing in transforming spaces in just one to two days. However, as our company has grown, our leadership realized something vital was missing. Up until this point, we have been just a shower company. We hadn't yet defined a bigger mission for our employees and our culture.

We are always looking for ways to get involved in the communities we serve, and we wanted to use our specific expertise to make a real difference. That is why we are incredibly honored to announce our official partnership with Holton’s Heroes, a remarkable nonprofit dedicated to supporting families affected by pediatric brain injuries.

Harper’s Story

To kick off this meaningful partnership, we were introduced to an extraordinary little girl named Harper and her mother, Cheryl. When Harper was just 19 months old, she suffered a near-drowning accident. She was pulseless for 20 minutes and in severe condition. While she thankfully survived, Harper sustained a severe brain injury that left her unable to walk, talk, or care for herself. 

Cheryl openly shared with us that navigating life as a parent of a child with special needs can be difficult and overwhelming at times. But she also expressed how powerful and inspiring it is when organizations step up to come alongside families like hers to offer support. For Cheryl, feeling seen and cared for—and knowing that Harper feels seen and cared for—means absolutely everything. 

Welcoming Harper to the MODE Renovation Family

As Harper has gotten older, everyday routines have naturally become more physically demanding. Cheryl explained that getting Harper in and out of their standard shower has become increasingly more difficult, making the family realize they needed to make crucial accommodations to their home. A wider shower pan with a significantly lower threshold would make a world of difference, allowing Cheryl to safely and easily bathe her daughter. 

When we heard Harper's story, our team knew exactly how we could help. We are proud to announce that Harper is the very first family we are sponsoring through Holton’s Heroes. We are stepping in to redo their shower completely for free, providing a safe, accessible space tailored to Harper’s needs. We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Harper and Cheryl to the MODE Renovation family. 

Looking Forward

Harper’s new shower is just the beginning of our new chapter. By partnering with Holton’s Heroes, we are committing a long-term mission of giving back and using our remodeling skills to remove physical barriers for children who need it most. We look forward to sponsoring more families, transforming more bathrooms into accessible sanctuaries, and continuing to build a culture at MODE Renovation that is deeply rooted in community care and compassion.
